Roses starts this summer a buoy hire system in its ‘cales’, like a paid car park.

Port of Roses municipal company manage the rentals, and one can rent hourly or daily. Users will no longer be individual holders of a mooring system (death, chain and buoy), becoming users of the service that offers Port of Roses SA municipal company. It will become the only actor in front of the maritime Authority and in case of any incident, will assume civil liability to third parties.

Establishments such as restaurants, which in previous years offered numerous buoys to its customers, now will be able to rent buoys packages at a more advantageous price.

In addition, taking advantage of the change management system buoys, the Roses ouncil will perform a replacement plan for a marine dead friendly with ecological Posidonia, an aquatic plant protected and high environmental value that serves as shelter biodiversity.
