On the 10th June at the Ruins of Empúries (L’Escala), the rehabilitation of these two spaces unique in the Iberian Peninsula were opened to the public.
It is the culmination of works performed in the stoa and the agora of the Greek city and the first phase of adaptation of the cryptoporticus space and the peristyle of the House of the Mosaics of the Roman city.
The two rehabilitation projects and museumisation, along with the new audiovisual welcome in the visitors reception center which was put into operation last March, are part of the Heritage in Action program, promoted by the Ministry of Culture and ‘La Caixa’.
